Daniella Smigielski

Associate Attorney

Daniella Smigielski (Shmih-GEHL-skee) earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2021, graduating with high honors and completing double minors in Black Studies and Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice. She received her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2024, graduating in the top 5% of her class.

During law school, Daniella gained substantial experience in criminal law across public, private, and federal legal settings.

Daniella is the daughter of immigrants from the Czech Republic and a first-generation college and law school graduate. This experience shaped her commitment to making the legal system more accessible and understandable.
