In addition to our case results, below are some letters and e-mails that were written to us by some very thankful San Diego clients. We are happy to share them with you here:
I’m so glad I was referred to you to save my driver’s license from being suspended. I am the only person that can drive my elderly mother to the doctor and get groceries and prescriptions for her. It seems that I have a lead foot and after 4 tickets in a year, the DMV was going to take my license away! I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t have you by my side to help me keep my license. Well, I received the letter in the mail today, and the DMV is not going to suspend me. Thank you so much for helping me dodge a bullet.

I am so happy that you were able to get my resisting arrest charge reduced to an infraction of failing to stop for a stop sign. I certainly learned my lesson about dealing with the police. You did a great job and I feel so much better now. I lost sleep all weekend thinking about how the case would end up.
I just wanted to say thank you for representing me. I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciated your services. I didn’t have to miss a day of work because you appeared on my behalf for every court date. He was very easy to communicate with and explain, step by step, what was going on and what steps needed to be taken. Also you worked with me on making payments instead of paying the whole thing at once.
Thank you for getting my sales and transportation of methamphetamine charges reduced. I was very scared when I found out that I was facing 9 years in prison because I have a prior conviction for sales of methamphetamine. Having you by my side was such a relief. In the end, I got probation and 20 days community service. I feel I dodged a bullet and I can’t thank you enough for getting such a good result!

I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciated your services for my recent driving under the influence charge.
The initial experience was certainly an eye opener to just how “backwards” the law and the entire associated processes can be, especially for those who fall in the situation where they are under the legal blood alcohol limit as set be the state/DMV, as I did. Unfair situations like the one I was in, really justify the use of a professional for the best outcome.
For our initial phone call until the entire process was “complete” I have to commend you on your great service. I was not looking to retain the actor/attorney advertising on TV late at night and pay for their advertising space. I was looking for someone who was first class as far as honesty, knowledgeable, and who would provide “start to finish” service. You exceeded my expectations all the way through.
You truly made the process as painless as possible for me. Looking back, I made my initial phone call to you, awaited you phone calls as updates were available on the key dates you advised me of up front, and then signed all paperwork at the end. Not having to make any sort of appearance in a hearing/court setting made the process a lot easier with my job where continuous travel is required.
As far as the end result of a “dry” reckless driving charge without the loss of my license, and not having to do any sort of community service or attend any alcohol abuse meetings/classes — I am very pleased. You truly provide me with the best possible outcome to a horrible situation.
While I have no plans of being a “repeat customer” for this type of service, I will certainly pass your name along to anyone in need. Please do not hesitate to use me as a reference for any future clients.
On July 5, 2012, I was arrested for driving under the influence of prescription drugs. When the police stopped me, they told me that I was swerving across multiple lanes of the freeway. I had no idea. I was taking prescription medication for anxiety and depression. A doctor gave me this medicine, and I had no idea it would affect my driving. I told the police officer that I had a prescription and I was taking the medicine the way I was told to take it. The officer told me I was impaired and arrested me anyway and set a court date to appear for a DUI! I am a nurse and was horrified to receive a letter from the Board of Vocational Nursing on July 19, 2012 asking me to explain myself. I was extremely worried that I was going to be fired from my job. I hired Superior Law Center and was immediately put at ease by the attorneys and staff. I met with Mr. Friis, who assured me that he would help me. And true to his word, he was able to get the DUI charge reduced to a reckless driving, which saved my job. I can’t thank you enough and would recommend this firm to anyone in trouble and in need of help.
I am very pleased with your services. I was charged with solicitation of prostitution and of course was very humiliated. I was terrified that I would lose my job and my family. I have a security clearance, and you are not allowed to have any convictions of any kind. You were very discreet in your services. You worked hard to get me an infraction, which will not go on my record and will save my job. I’ve learned a big lesson but I am glad you were on my side for this ordeal!

Patti and I want to express our gratitude for your efforts in obtaining this Certificate of Reclassification. Having attempted this several times ourselves, we fully appreciate the effort put forth to accomplish this task. Again, we appreciate your efforts in closing this matter and will consider you for all our future needs.
I was arrested for domestic violence against my girlfriend. I contacted Superior Law Center, and Erik Friis was able to prevent any charges being filed against me. On top of that, he went the extra mile and was able to get a Certificate of Release, which states that I was detained only. Now I don’t have to tell anyone that I was arrested for this incident.

Mr. Friis was my attorney representing me for a DUI case. Mr. Friis was very professional as well as being very understanding about my situation, as well as my financial situation.
Mr. Friis worked with me and was very flexible about payment for his services. Mr. Friis accepted payments from me instead of asking for his total fee up front, which I know was very commendable on his behalf.
Mr. Friis appeared on my behalf for every court date and conducted said appearances with his professionals with knowledge of the DUI laws. Mr. Friis was very informative about all proceedings of my case. He was very easy to communicate with and explain, step by step, what was going on and what steps needed to be taken.
He made this as easy an experience as possible for me to understand. For that I thank him.
Mr. Friis also prevented me from having to go to jail, instead settling for just a fine by the court and classes with OHS.
For this I truly thank and appreciate him. He is a damn good attorney and I would gladly recommend his services.
Once again, thanks for a job well done.
I was falsely accused of child molestation and kicked out of my house. I came to Superior Law Center for help. I was immediately put at ease by the staff who told me not to worry because Erik Friis would help me. Mr. Friis got to work on the case right away, advised me of my rights, and made contact with the Detective and Social Services on the case. Mr. Friis helped prevent criminal charges being filed against me. Mr. Friis kept in contact with social services and I was allowed to move back into my house. Thank you Mr. Friis for believing in me and supporting me through this very tough time.
You saved my life! I was looking at 11 years in state prison for a felony domestic violence case because I had a previous felony domestic violence case and a strike on my record. But due to your hard work and understanding of the facts of the new case, you were able to get me a misdemeanor and credit for time served (which was 75 days), and terminate probation. Now I can restart my life with a clean slate. I am eternally grateful for your service. I feel like I am in debt to you for 11 years of my life. What you did for me is the best thing that anyone has ever done for me! You are the best lawyer anyone’s ever had. You are amazing and the best. If there’s ever anything I can ever do for you, please let me know.

Erik Friis did an excellent job of getting me an acquittal on all counts in my jury trial for a DUI. His ability to pick a favorable jury and his presenting simply and succinctly only those facts that were important for the jurors to consider made this a positive outcome. Erik listened to my concerns was meticulous in his preparation. I can highly recommend him as a knowledgeable and quality defense attorney.
Thank you very much for your representation in my case. I appreciate your working on my behalf in ensuring the best possible outcome. I have been fortunate to have had an attorney that was willing to take time to answer all my questions and discuss possible scenarios with me. You have made me confident that I understand al that I need to know.
I appreciate your time, consideration and hard work. If I ever need an attorney, I will certainly contact you first.
I cannot thank Mr. Friis enough for everything he has done to help me! I would highly recommend him for anyone in need of an attorney who ends up in a situation like mine.
In my situation, I had my driver’s license wrongfully revoked when I had a traffic accident. I had some medical issues in the past that were on my driving record and the police report concluded that these issues were the sole reason for the accident.
Once Mr. Friis reviewed my case, he was certain that he could help me. I was extremely nervous and I didn’t know what to expect. It all seemed so daunting, but Erik took the time to explain the process, what he could do to help and so on. He was amazing at the hearing and I left there elated and with my driver’s license re-instated!
I was concerned about the cost due to our financial situation, but it was clear he could do the job, and believe me…he was worth every penny, and then some!
I was arrested on November 16, 2012 for Felony Stalking and put in jail. I was extremely upset because I was falsely accused of stalking. My family, who was aware of the false accusations, researched and hired Superior Law Center. Thank god they did! Erik was the most absolute and outstanding lawyer I’ve ever met in my life. Erik went to bat for me and defended me against the false allegations that were being made by my ex- girlfriend. I cannot vouch for or recommend Erik enough. To me and my family, Erik was outstanding and amazing! I was facing a lot of adversity going into the case and with Erik’s hard work and support, we were able to prove that the accusations were false. I am very content and happy with Erik’s representation and I appreciate all the hard work he did on the case. Since I was released from jail, I have been Facebooking to everyone I know that if they ever get in trouble, they should hire Superior Law Center. I can’t even put into words how much I appreciate Erik Friis.
Thank you for the great service. I appreciate the result.
I am a veteran of the Iraqi and Afghanistan wars. After 5 tours of duty, I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Unfortunately, I did not seek or receive the treatment that I needed. On one fateful occasion, while blacked out by alcohol, I committed a very serious and violent offense of rape against my wife. I was horrified by what I did. Fortunately, I hired Erik Friis to represent me. Initially, the prosecutor offered that I go to prison for 6 years. I was scared and devastated. Erik fought tirelessly to get me a probation deal so I could avoid state prison and did not have to register as a sex offender. Additionally, Erik helped me so that when I was discharged from the military, I was able to keep my medical benefits, so that I can get the treatment I so desperately need. I am so grateful to Erik for all his hard work, the result he was able to get for me and for standing by me 100% of the way.

I found myself facing criminal charges after my DUI. It was the single most costly mistake that I could have made. My marriage, career, and freedom were in jeopardy. I retained Erik Friis on the matter and after our initial consultation I was very relieved to have his experience on my side. He represented me in a courteous and professional manner. I was informed of my rights and responsibilities every step of the way. He even offered me a payment plan. I was able to breathe easy thanks to Erik Friis. I would recommend him to anyone facing a DUI charge.
It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter to let you know that how much I’ve appreciated using your services. I have never been in need of an attorney, so I’m sure you know how unsettling this experience was. I wanted to keep my legal issues as private as I could, so I used the many pamphlets that were mailed soon after my visit to an overnight stay in custody.
After meeting you in person, I was at ease with my circumstances because of your knowledge and experience with DUI-related cases. Unfortunately, I was arrested again within six months of my first offense. Again, you knew what I was up against, and the end result was beyond anything short of a miracle. I want to thank you for getting both offenses reduced to wet reckless accounts without any jail time or even community service.
I hope I never need to use your services again, and I’m on the right path to ensure I don’t. I will always recommend you and your services to my friends and family. You are a professional!
Erik: Enclosed is the check for the disturbing the peace charge. Thank you for all your help. It’s been a pleasure working with you, especially considering how smooth it appeared from here. I’ll let Kevin know as well.
Thank you for getting my petty theft misdemeanor charges reduced to an infraction without having to serve any probation. I work for a company that does background checks once a year, and any misdemeanor or felony conviction would have cost me my job. I want to let you know that I had a very great experience with you as my lawyer. If there’s a word better than great, that’s how I feel. I am very happy with your service. I will recommend you to anyone in trouble. I felt comfortable with you throughout your representation. I was extremely nervous about the outcome but you built my confidence in getting a good result.

For whatever reason you may need a lawyer, I know this is a scary time in your life. That’s why I went with Erik Friis. He didn’t sugar coat anything or make promises he couldn’t deliver. Erik did more than I thought could be done, and went beyond expectation. After being arrested for shoplifting and later being charged with felony burglary, Erik was able to get everything reduced to an infraction. Choosing Erik was the wisest decision I ever made. Erik did an incredible job representing me in court, and was always there for my 50 phone calls with random questions. I felt assured from the beginning with Erik’s professional manner and extensive knowledge as an attorney. The best advice I could offer someone seeking a lawyer is don’t second guess yourself; if you are seeking someone who truly cares for his clients and what he does, then going with Erik is a no brainer. Look at what he did for me. Erik changed the outcome of my life and I will be forever grateful for all he’s done.
My name is Robert. I am 25 and I work as a salesman in Lake Elsinore, California. On February 9th I was pulled over for a DUI by a California Highway Patrol officer. I did not feel I deserved to be charged with a DUI so I chose to fight the case. A friend who had also been arrested for a DUI recommended the services of Superior Law Center. I called Erik Friis and during our first conversation I could sense the high level of professionalism he held. I also noticed that Erik had a vast knowledge of the law and the san diego County court system. Due to Erik’s attitude and professionalism, I was very confident that my case would have a good result.
I called Erik a few days after I was arrested. I gave him the facts of my case and he analyzed them. He promptly told me that I had a good case and that he would be happy to take the case. I very much appreciated Erik’s professionalism. He always called me back with a quick manner and he was always on time for our meetings. Erik always wore a very nice suit which amplified his strong professional presence. As the court process went on, it was apparent that Erik was much respected in the san diego County Court system. In addition Erik was happy to explain to me every aspect of the law process and the details of my case.
Initially I was concerned that the court process would be very complicated and difficult. Erik was able to explain to me everything in an understandable manner. Basically, Erik made everything easy for me. He had an office directly across the street from the court house which made meeting during court very easy. He told me when and where I had to be for court and meetings, which helped me. Erik also knows many great case experts; the fella he used for my case was awesome. The price I paid for the whole situation was a bargain compared to other DUI attorneys.
During the process I got to know Erik due to the time we spent together. He is simply a nice guy. The situation I was in stunk and Erik made it stink less. He made the time enjoyable for me by talking to me about sports and current affairs. He was even nice enough to buy me lunch, I was stoked.
I was upset when I was arrested for a DUI. I came to Erik Friis and he showed me that he was professional, knowledgeable, and had a great attitude. As a result Erik won my case. I was found NOT-GUILTY in my case. Erik did his job. I would most definitely recommend that if you are arrested for a DUI that you call Erik Friis.
Thank you for getting my felony hit and run charge reduced to a misdemeanor. I’ve had a very traumatic couple of years culminating in my arrest. I was terrified throughout this process about the possibility of going to jail and losing my career. I couldn’t sleep. You put me at ease and reassured me every step of the way that I would not end up with a felony and I would not lose my job. And true to your word, I did not. I was so relieved today. Thank you for being by my side. You have been a tremendous help and I appreciate everything you’ve done for me!

I feel very fortunate to have found you when I was in such desperate need of legal guidance. I was charged with criminal trespass, a charge which would have ruined my livelihood, because I have a licensed business where I cannot have any criminal convictions of any kind. This has been the worst time of my life, when I truly felt confused, frustrated and victimized by many false accusations and charges leveled against me. I want to thank you for such a wise and competent counsel and for handling my case with dedication and attention to details.
Your extensive knowledge, high level of professionalism and expertise , such caring and compassionate support, excellent representation and defense of my case in the court brought a tremendous feeling of inner peace, assurance and security to me, relieving a great deal of anxiety and uncertainty. I am entirely convinced that due to your analytical thinking and investigative talent I had a successful outcome with my case. I have already highly recommended you as one of the best criminal attorneys to our dear friend who is having legal problems.
With deep respect and gratitude.

Dear Mr. Friis:

I just want to say thank you for helping my daughter through her juvenile delinquency case. She was arrested for alcohol and drug violations and I feared the worst. You were very supportive of my daughter and our family. Thankfully, in the end the judge could see that she is great person and released her to our family where she can get the support she needs. I know this had been a wake-up call for L, and I think she will turn her life around.

In December of last year I arrested for burglarizing some houses. I ended being charged with 5 counts of residential burglary including 1 where the homeowner was inside. I had no idea how serious this crime was. I ended up facing 5 strikes and years in prison. I was scared to death at the prospect of going to state prison. I was so blessed to have you by my side. You not only were able to get me probation when the District Attorney wanted me to serve 4 years in state prison, but you also got me into the work furlough program so I didn’t have to do any actual jail time. I was simply amazed at the effort you put into my case. Thank you for your excellent work. You are simply the best!

Nice talking with you yesterday – you have a good manner about you. I appreciate you asking “What are your major concerns?” Most other attorneys were more concerned about getting my contact info than assuaging my concerns and would accuse me of trying to get “free legal advice” when I tried to even get some basic information. Perhaps I made a mistake by canceling the DMV hearing in terms of taking my suspension now & in the near future filing for SR22 insurance. Is there a way to “reverse” this or negate this from my records should we win this case or get it reduced? Thank you for your time & support & your message of hope!
